The CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba will embark on a three-day visit to Cote d’Ivoire, the host country for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2023 on Tuesday afternoon, June 7, 2022.
He will lead a CAF delegation for key meetings on Wednesday in relations to the preparations for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023. Mosengo-Omba will, along with other CAF officials, meet the Ivorian Football Federation and the government of Cote d’Ivoire to deliberate on issues of importance about the continent’s flagship tournament.
On Thursday, the CAF delegation will hold further meetings with the Local Organising Committee, and pay visit to two stadiums and some sites that will be used for the competition.
Accroding to the continent’s football governing body, CAF, “the CAF delegation and the Ivorian Football Federation will make further announcement on the times of the visits and meetings”.
