Medeama Sporting Club know that a win or draw at home to Tamale City on Sunday will end their long wait for a Ghana Premier League title.
They hold a three points lead over second-placed Bechem United coming into this weekend’s final round of games.
The Hunters are away at Aduana and need to win, hoping that Tamale City will do them a favor at Akoon Park to leapfrog Medeama on the final day.
The day will wrap up some matters at both ends of the table.
All eyes will also be on the bottom of the Premier League table as the final round of fixtures plays out. Five teams including Hearts of Oak are battling to avoid the drop.
Hearts simply must win or pick a point if they’re to preserve their top-flight status for next season, and they will face a difficult challenge away to Berekum Chelsea.
Last season champions, Asante Kotoko will wrap up their campaign against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, while relegation-threatened Great Olympics take on Nsoatreman FC in Sogakope.
With all matches scheduled to kick-off simultaneous at 3:00pm without any failure, StarTimes will serve its viewers with only two games.
