CONFIRMED: Big blow hits Hearts of Oak as Francis Andy Kumi signs for new club

Ghanasportspage can exclusively confirm that former Asante Kotoko striker, Francis Andy Kumi has swerved Accra Hearts of Oak to sign for Medeama SC ahead of the upcoming season.

In the space of a 48 hours, the prolific attacker first appeared to be on the verge of a move to Accra Hearts of Oak, only for 2022/23 Ghanaian champions Medeama SC to step in and capture his signature.

The club is yet to confirm but ghanasportspage.com can boldly confirm that the 24-year-old forward has signed a two-year deal with the Mauve and Yellow side.

Kumi bagged nine goals for Kotoku Royals during the 2022/23 season before joining Serbian side FK Radniki Nis.

Despite his side being relegated from Ghana’s top flight, he had a great season and ended the campaign as the club’s top scorer.

The former Kotoko striker is joining Medeama SC as free agent after parting ways with OFK Vrsac in Serbia.
