New Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has being directed to stay at the Hotel all his days working for Ghana, source confirmed.
The Portuguese trainer will lodge at a 5-Star hotel in the Capital throughout his working days as coach after he was informed of no residential place.
Despite the Government through the Sports Ministry acquiring a building in the name of Ghana men’s national team head coach, Carlos Queiroz can not stay there rather stay in hotel.
The residence has been converted to office by the Ghana Football Association.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, previously acquired residential accommodation for the Black Stars head coach to reduce high expenditures on hotel bills. The move was intended to stop the payment of approximately $8,000 to $15,000 monthly for hotel accommodation, saving the state significant funds.
The apartment is a 3-bedroom house in the Airport Residential Area which Coach Kwasi Appiah first resided in.
However, the GFA has refused using it for it original purpose rather converted it into a Technical Hub and office for national team coaches.
