The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will today Thursday, April 23 2026 unveil Ghana’s new head coach Carlos Queiroz to the media.
Following the dismissal of Otto Addo in March, after two disappointing international friendly matches against Austria and Germany it became urgent for a new gaffer to be appointed. The Ghana Football Association then settled on 73-year old Carlos Queiroz as Otto’s replacement.
Carlos arrived in Ghana on Tuesday to officially begin his work. He’s already met with the Sports Minister Hon. Kofi Adams and will be officially unveiled to the press today.
He will then face the media to address key issues pertaining Black Stars especially preparation for the FIFA World Cup.
The former Egypt, Iran and South Africa coach will lead Black Stars to the Mundial, hence his work starting work immediately.
The unveiling and questioning answering event will take place at the Alisa Hotel in Accra exactly 11:00am.
