Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison has confirmed that Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Accra Hearts of Oak, has initiated discussions with him regarding a potential move in the current transfer window.
Morrison, who made a significant impact during his time with Asante Kotoko, has been making waves in the Kenyan Premier League, helping FC Gor Mahia to finish the 2025/26 season as league champions. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the season following his exceptional display.
During an interview with Mother 102.7FM and Tv, Morrison was candid about the current situation regarding his future. “Accra Hearts of Oak have shown interest, and we are in talks. I can even show you the message [he jokingly said]. My bond with them is strong because I had already finalised talks with them before moving to Kenya.
“I will consider joining them if only the offer is better than what I earn in Kenya or outside because we are all working because of money,” he confirmed.

However, as negotiations with Hearts of Oak are progressing, Morrison also disclosed that his current club, Gor Mahia, is keen on extending his contract, which is set to expire shortly. “Gor Mahia have expressed their desire to keep me, amd they are working hard to renew my contract,” he noted. This dual interest underscores the competitive nature of football where players must navigate their ambitions while considering the ties they form with clubs.
The possibility of Morrison donning the colors of Accra Hearts of Oak intrigues many fans and analysts alike. Known for their fiery rivalry with Asante Kotoko, the addition of Morrison would not only reinforce the Hearts squad but also amplify the ongoing rivalry between the two clubs. Morrison’s flair and skill would undoubtedly make an impact in the league, providing Hearts with the creative edge they need to mount a serious challenge for the title.
