Accra Hearts of Oak is currently in negotiations with goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi regarding a contract extension. Reports indicate that significant progress has been made in discussions, and if all goes well, Agbasi could soon be signing a new deal with the club.
Agbasi, who previously played for Dreams FC, served primarily as a back-up to Benjamin Asare during the last season. His impressive skills earned him recognition, even being named as a standby player for Ghana’s World Cup squad.
With Asare anticipated to depart the club, Agbasi is set to take over as the first-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming season at Hearts of Oak.
As reported, other clubs including Asante Kotoko, have expressed interest in securing Agbasi’s services.
However, Hearts of Oak is determined to finalize his contract extension and retain the talented goalkeeper for the next campaign.
