EXCLUSIVE: Former Legon Cities winger Stephen Appiah joining Asante Kotoko

Former Legon Cities winger, Stephen Appiah Asare is on the brink of completing a move to Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer.

The Porcupines have been busy in the transfer market, aiming to recruits the best talents after releasing over 20 first team players after the just-ended season.

Appiah, 28, has impressed Dr Ogum and his technical team and a move to the Kumasi-based club is on the card.

The former Tema Youth captain is already in Kumasi for his medical examination before penning his deal to join the Porcupines.

Asare joined Legon Cities in the second round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign and featured 14 times for the Royals, scoring twice, providing one assist.
