USM Alger has officially issued a statement on its Twitter page, The statement read:
” The leadership of the USMA informs its dear supporters that an agreement has been reached with their Ghanaian counterpart of Asante Kotoko SC for the final transfer of attacker Kwame Opoku who will commit for four and a half years”.
Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has finally joined Algerian side USM Alger. Kwame Opoku has so far enjoyed a reasonably good season with seven goals in the league and a goal in Kotoko’s failed African campaign after scoring against ES Setif in Accra.
According to the Algerian giants, Kwame Opoku has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with an undisclosed fee. Ghanasportspage.com can report that Opoku will seal an amount of US$ 500,000 in this deal 500,000.
Opoku joined Asante from second division side Nkoranza Warriors before the commencement of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League and has performed tremendously with the porcupine warriors
